OUR TEACHERS
Mr. Bowers
Kevin Bowers has been teaching SHSM Focus Programs for well over 20 years. He was a founding member of a songwriting and recording project out of NDSS called ‘Let’s Make a Demo,’ and a decade later started teaching film production in Studio LC. His focus as an educator has always orbited around the role that creativity plays helping people thrive and grow. The attitudes and postures required for creativity also help to build good lives. A skill in creating interesting experiences, an open mind, community building, looking at the world in interesting ways, considered, critical, and creative thought are all fundamental goals of teaching, learning, and living. Kevin is a working musician and songwriter. He also is a writer and traveler and has authored a book ‘Travels for the Seriously Curious’ which is about how travel, learning, creativity, all can weave into good lives.
